Sydney Water Rainwater Tanks Study

Sydney Water has recently completed a study to find out how rainwater tanks are performing both in terms of saving water and energy use. This is the largest detailed rainwater tank monitoring study in Australia.

The Department of Sustainability and Environment, Office of Water, has announced the continuation of rebates for rainwater tanks, as well as an extension of the eligibility rules. The new rebates program for homes and gardens now includes domestic households that are self supplied (not connected to a reticulated water supply).

Tankworks is proud to support the BFA Organic School Gardens program in 2011. The program is designed for students aged 8 -12 years and provides practical support to schools with detailed lessons and accompanying teacher's notes for setting up and maintaining an organic school garden.
Commercial tank install at Ashmore

We just received these photos of a commercial water tank installation at Ashmore in Queensland. The site is a new church building, and they have a nine Tankworks steel water tanks installed for a total of 45,000L of capacity.
