Rain heads, including the Leaf Eater and Leaf Beater products from Rain Harvesting, are an effective pre-filter for your rainwater tank. They offer screening that helps to keep leaves, particles and mosquitoes out of your downpipes and charged line systems.

Rain heads are especially useful in charged line systems, where the downpipes run underground to feed the tank. These systems are prone to a build up of sediment without effective pre-filtering of the rainwater.
