Small business rebates in Victoria
The Victorian state government has announced new rebates for small business, encouraging the installation of rainwater tanks and other water saving products.
The rebates are for eligible small businesses in Victoria, where the business premises is connected to mains water. A range of products, including rainwater tanks, are included in the schedule.
The rebate is 50% of the purchase price of the goods, up to a maximum rebate of $2000.
To claim the rebate for a rainwater tank, the tank must 2000 Litres or greater and connected to toilet, laundry or other business process requiring year around water use. Rainwater tanks must be designed and manufactured to Australian Standards.
