The Tankworks Australia team are proud to have been selected as a finalist in the 2008 Telstra Business Awards - medium business category. The selection as a finalist from thousands of entries assures Tankworks Australia’s customers that they have made a sound choice with an established and reputable supplier of quality water tanks and accessories. Tankworks Australia have now planted over 400 native trees and grasses at our Smithfield site. The plants will create a drought proof garden in the front of the property, and replace the grass and oak trees that used to grow there. The trees and grasses have been selected by horticulturists as being indigenous to the western Sydney region and suitable for the specific location. Tankworks Australia along with industry partner Storm Major Projects wins contract to supply every scout hall in the country with a 5000L rainwater tank. The project is a federally funded water grant and is designed to save water and provide an avenue for water conservation education to the youth of Australia. Industry partners Green Plumbers and Water Wizz also form a part of the successful consortium and the whole team is looking forward to the national rollout. |
