The Slimline range of water tanks are available in popular
colours and sizes up to 7000 litres. They are built for
narrow spaces, usually to fit snugly along the side of your
house. Internal stainless steel cross bracing is engineered
into the tank for maximum durability and strength.
The traditional corrugated round water tank is still a popular
choice when space permits. Manufactured using the true deep
corrugated profile with extra wide sheets ensures a strong
tank with minimal seams. Capacities range from 500 litres up
to 30,000 litres

Tips for selecting your
new water tank
It is best to choose the largest tank that will fit
into your available area and then feed rainwater
from as much roof area as practical into your
tank. Here are some other useful tips:
A. Normal garden hosing can use up to 1000
litres per hour of water. A 5000 litre water tank
will therefore provide around 5 hours of
watering time. Make sure you size the tank to
meet your expectations.
B. One metre squared of roof area will provide
one litre of water for every millimetre of rain.
Maximising the roof area feeding to your tank is
the best way to ensure you collect as much
water as possible.
C. Be aware that every 1000 litres of water is
one tonne of weight. This is a factor in considering the location of your tank. Be sure
not to place in an area with unstable ground or
too close to existing house footings. Refer to
back page for base guidelines.
D. Remember you will need to access the leaf
strainer to clean out leaves. This may be a
consideration when deciding the height and
location of your tank.
